Laser skin resurfacing for Acne scars part 2
Call front desk: 1-540-989-6361 or 540-989-6763. Email: www.SWVACenter.com My name is Hans Moore. I’m 42. This is my 3rd laser skin treatment with Kathleen Gorman. The procedure is called Erbium fractional laser skin resurfacing. It is the same method as Fraxel, but the machine has a different name. The Procedure was performed at the ” Southwest Virginia Center. 2965 Colonnade Drive Suite 140. Roanoke, VA. This is the best treatment on the market to help soften acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, even out the skin tone and remove freckles or blotchy skin. The pain feels like rubber bands snapping the skin. It takes only 4 days to heal. This reason I had this skin treatment performed is, because I had some small acne scarring and a few fine lines around my eyes. This treatment also tightens the skin permanently.

Ill be honest, ive never had skin resurfacing, but I have had laser surgery to remove some of my surgery scars. One of my scars is completely invisible now and the other one is barely visible. I definately recommend it to anyone.

You don’t have to be a nurse but you do have to be a licensed Esthetician:
Estheticians work at salons and day spas. Estheticians specialize in beautifying the skin. They perform cosmetic skin treatments including hair removal (waxing, threading) massage, body wraps, skin care, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, eyelash extensions, aromatherapy, permanent make up, and make-up application. Estheticians may also specialize with machine treatments such as non surgical “face lifts” and faradic muscle tone. The specialist may undergo special training for treatments such as laser hair removal and electrolysis. Estheticians must be licensed in the state they are working in. In order to become one they must complete 260 to 600 hours of training and pass both a written and hands-on exam. Estheticians usually work under a dermatologist’s supervision and usually treat mild cases of acne. It has been shown that patients who get facials have a higher chance of reducing acne.
It is a state by state licensure requirement concerning Botox. When working with a dermatologist the chances are higher you will get that chance.
